ECMO
Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO)12-22
There continues to be growing research on the safety, feasibility, and necessity of early mobility with patients supported on ECMO.
However, due to several barriers such as the ECMO configuration, cannulation type, acuity level of the patient, or staffing limitations, it can be quite challenging to mobilize patients on this level of support.
The Total Lift Bed offers a safe, controlled, and easier way to mobilize these patients with less staff resources and risk to both patient and clinicians.
